Letter from Grozny
Our editorial board has received a letter from the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. We are publishing this letter in its entirety.
Here it is:
I am writing to you on behalf of five families who reside in Grozny. We have been killed wildly since 1994. At first, it was by gangs from the Russian Federation, now, it is being done by traitors of our people.
Every single day, we are being brutally tortured and robbed! Chechnya and its people have not actually moved away from the state of war. All peace is on television, but in reality, there is terror, kidnapping, murder, humiliation and violence.
We are taxed and robbed through blackmails by the Kadyrovs, Aymani, Akhmad, Kunta and others. Even poor and unemployed residents are required to pay taxes, utilities and other institutionalized forms of tribute!
After paying these tributes, salaries in the Russian occupied Chechnya equal about 2000-2500 Rubles (40-50 Euros).
All residents of Chechnya hate Kadyrov and his minions; curse them. These scoundrels are chattering and they are nothing other than traitors and cheaters. Normal people don’t live the good life, only these types of human scum do!
However, these traitors are sorely mistaken if they think that people will not pay them back for their brutal manners. Revenge! The people are just waiting for their time…
