Leszek Miller: “Putin! Allow a Referendum in Chechnya!”
Leszek Miller, former Polish Prime Minister and current leader of the Democratic Left Alliance (Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej) Party, commented on the illegal annexation of Crimea and asked Putin to allow a referendum in Chechnya.
“If the right of a peoples’ self-determination is so important for President Putin, then he must let people organize an appropriate referendum in Chechnya and in other countries that have long been calling for self-determination,” said Polish politician Miller in front of journalists.
Recall that Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, had spoke about the right of self-determination while commenting on the results of a referendum in Crimea, which resulted in its illegal annexation by Russia.
