A New Abduction in Vedeno
Local sources have reported that a male civilian was abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on January 30, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry’s Vedeno District Unit and armed bandits from the pro-Russian regime organized a joint punishment operation in the village of Makhkety, in the Vedeno district. As a result, a male resident, born in 1963, was abducted from his house. The hostage is accused of providing food to members of Chechen National Liberation Movement and transporting them with his private car in 2012.
The hostage’s fate and whereabouts are unknown at the moment.
