Third Kidnapped Ingush Man Has Been Released
Earlier we reported that three young Ingush men were kidnapped and two of them were later released. On January 3rd, the last victim Adam Khamkhoev was released as well.
According to the victim’s father Musa Khamkhoev, Adam was dumped in the outskirts of Ordzhonikidzevskaya on January 3rd. His son was beaten and tortured during his captivity.
The kidnappers demanded that Adam sign a fabricated confession paper which said that he and his older brother Anzor committed a crime. The local security forces, who were the kidnappers, also robbed the victim. They stole Adam’s money, the registration certificate from his car, his driver’s license and the key to his house.
The family is going to ask for public prosecutor in Ingushetia to investigate the case and prosecute the security force agents who participated in the kidnapping and torture of Adam.
