Human Rights Center “Memorial” has reported that two young men were abducted by armed thugs from the pro-Russian regime in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.

According to the press-release, Louiza Shakhiyevna Aydamirova, a resident from the Staropromyslovski district in the capital Grozny, has appealed to “Memorial” because her son, Ali Adamovich Aydamirov, born in 1988, and his friend, Khalid Dyushev were abducted by unknown armed people at 9:00pm on the “Kavkaz” highway near the “Leader” gas station, on June 24.

On that day, Ali and Khalid went to Gudermes to visit their friend Israil. Around 5:00pm, Louiza called her son Ali, and he said that they had already left and were on their way back. However, Ali did not return home. After a few hours, Louiza started to worry about her son and called him again. She heard some noises, but did not pay them much mind. Ali said that they were on their way and driving fast so he had to hang up immediately. After 15 minutes, Louiza called him again, but his phone was turned off. Ali did not return home that night. The next day, Khalid Dyushev’s wife called Israil and he told her that Ali and Khalid were abducted by armed bandits from the pro-Russian regime. Their relatives tried to get information from the pro-Russian authorities, but they alleged that they did not know anything about them.

As of July 8, the relatives of the abducted young men do not have any information on the whereabouts of Ali or Khalid.
