Poland’s New Khalidov: Anzor Aziev
The Polish city of Płock will host one of the biggest MMA organizations, “Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki 18”. The famous Chechen fighter Mamed Khalidov will not appear in the ring, but another young Chechen, Anzor Aziev will follow in his footsteps.
21-year old Anzor Aziev has won the Russian wrestling championship three times in his career, but now he will continue his title hunt in Poland as an MMA fighter. Up until now, he has fought 24 times in MMA and won 22 of those matches. On February 25, 2012, he will face the 31-year old German fighter, Cengiz Dana at Orlen Arena in Plock, Poland.
“It is the struggle of my life at the beginning of my career, but I will manage. Twice a day, I train for this fight,” said Anzor as he promised a new victory.
