On July 30,2009, there were an ethnic conflict clashed betwen Ingushes and Ossetians in the Prigorodni region of North Ossetia.

Some Ingush local residents from Prigorodni region informed us with an e-mail, according to e-mail, about hundreds of Ossetian and some Ingush residents live in Prigorodni region of North Ossetia. On the evening of July 30, 2009 some Ossetian adults moved to Yandievo (Dachnevo) village with their cars. They would have knifes, machine guns and rods. Around at 20, they saw some Inguh youngs in the street, they stopped their car, started to shouting and attacked them. As a result of fighting two Ingush youngs injured with knives and they were taken to the hospital. The eyewitness said that there were some Ossetian polices but during the fighting Ossetian police was just watching it.

After in one hour, as a response, Ingush side opened fire with their pneumatic guns and three Ossetian residents injured.

On July 31, 2009 around 02.00 am at night, Ossetian law enforcements started to an irritation operation at the houses of Ingush residents in Yandievo village of Prigorodni region. During this operations some Ingushes seriously wounded and were taken to the hospital.
