Rally against Putin in Helsinki
A rally was arranged against Vladimir Putin in Helsinki on Wednesday, when he attended the Baltic Sea Action Summit in the Finlandia House.
Some 40 Chechen refugees, mostly recently arrived Chechens of younger age, gathered in Helsinki order to protest against Putin. Several posters reminding of crimes against the Chechen people were hang up, and the snow was covered with blood in order to remind of the bloodshed Putin initiated in 2009.
At the protest meeting, Chechen national music was played and several participiants had large flags of Ichkeria with them. Speeches were hold by means of loudspeakers, reminding of killed Presidents and other prominent persons (PRESIDENTS: Dzhokhar Dudaev, Gekhi-Chu, ChRI, 21 april 1996, Russian rocket strike; Zelimkhan Yandarbiyev, Doha, Qatar, 13 february 2004, blown up by Russian terrorists; Aslan Maskhadov, Doykur-Evl, ChRI, 8 march 2005, killed fighting the occupational forces; Abdul Khalim Sadullayev, Argun, ChRI, 17 june 2006, killed fighting the occupational forces; PROMINENT PERSONS: Ruslan Alikhadzhiyev, May 17, 2000, kidnapped by occupational forces, disappeared without a trace; Turpal-Ali Atgeriyev, August 18, 2002, tortured to death in russia; Aslambek Abdulkhadzhiev, August 26, 2002, Shali, ChRI, killed in action while fighting by occupational forces; Salman Raduyev, December 2002, tortured to death in russia prison; Vakha Arsanov, May 15, 2005, Grozny, killed by occupational forces; Khamzat Gelayev, February 28, 2004, Chechen mountains killed fighting Russian occupational forces; Shamil Basayev, July 10, 2006, Ekazhevo, blown up by Russian terrorists).
