Fifteenth Anniversary of Dzhoxar Dudaev’s Death
Today is the fifteenth anniversary of our legendary President Dzhoxar Dudaev’s death. On April 21, 1996 Russian jets bombed his location in the village of Gekhi-Chu and he became Shaheed (insha’Allah).
Dzhoxar was a peaceful person despite being a brilliant military commander. He was a thinking man and a farsighted person. He tried to live in peace and create amicable terms all over the world. However, the hungry coyote’s of the Russian Federation did not let the Chechen people live in peace and harmony. The global community closed its eyes to the brutal and monstrous Russian invasion in a young, independent state. Then, to defend his country, Dzhoxar fought shoulder to shoulder with ordinary soldiers – mostly volunteer villagers- and he visited all fronts to cheer soldiers up with his jokes. The Russian army killed this brave man treacherously while he was having a telephone conversation in order to find a way to stop Russia’s colonial war in his homeland.
Dzhoxar dedicated himself single-mindedly to the Chechen nation and to saving his people from the colonialist Soviet-Russian rule. He achieved his goal! He created an independent state, the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, which was the common dream of the entire Chechen nation for centuries. Today he is lying somewhere high in the inaccessible mountains of Chechen Republic of Ichkeria under the shadow of ancient Chechen towers and watching his holy land.
The Chechen people will always remember him as a true son of his nation.
We miss you Dzhoxar!
We pray for you and offer our condolences once again to the Chechen people and your family.
Let Allah accept your gazavat!
