Three Civilians Abducted in One Night
The website Ichkeria.info has reported that three young men were abducted by Russian soldiers and their local collaborators in the military occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on the night of May 18, invader Russian soldiers and their armed local collaborators held three hostage-taking operations in different mountainous areas of the country.
During the operations in the village of Kotar-Yurt in the Achkoi-Martan district and the village of Shalazhi in the Urus-Martan district, two male local residents, ages 20 and 25 years old, were abducted from their homes. Two hostages are accused of providing food for the Chechen mujahedeen since March 2011.
Another operation was held in the village of Makhkety in the Vedeno district. A 23-year old male resident was abducted from his home. The hostage was accused of providing lodging and aid to the Chechen mujahedeen in May 2011.
The fate and whereabouts of the hostages are unknown.
