Two Civilians Abducted in Vedeno
Local sources have reported that two male civilians were abducted by armed thugs from the pro-Russian regime in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the report, armed bandits from the Russian army and the pro-Russian regime conducted the joint punishment operations in the villages of Makhety and Tsa-Vedeno within in the Vedeno district on June 7. As a result, two locals were abducted during the operations.
Pro-Russian authorities claim that one of their hostages, born in 1977, provided food to the Chechen mujahedeen last autumn, and the second hostage, born in 1964, provided SIM cards and military uniforms in October of 2007.
The fate and whereabouts of the hostages are unknown.
