Local sources have reported that a male Chechen civilian was abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.

According to the information, on October 15, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry organized a punishment operation in the village of Assinovskaya, within the Sunzha district. As a result a male civilian, who was born in 1989, was abducted from his home.

The hostage is accused of providing military uniforms and civilian clothes to members of the Chechen National Liberation Movement since April 2012.

The fate and whereabouts of the hostage are unknown at the moment.
