Another Chechen Mother Reports Her Son’s Abduction
Magomed Mutsolgov, head of the Ingush human rights organization “MASHR”, has reported that a Chechen mother complained about the mysterious disappearance of her son.
According to the information, Rovzan Umkhaevna Sigauri, a Chechen mother from the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria’s Sunzha district, reported that her son Lema Bekhanovich Sigauri, born in 1984, has been missing since November 23.
Lema is a student at Grozny State University and works part-time. On November 23, at 08.00pm, he went to the village of Kalinin within the Grozny district in his car “VAZ-2107” to install a heating system at a house. After working for a long time, he said that he had to leave because he had a class the next morning. He stated that he would return after the class to finish his work. Then he left the home. Since leaving he has been missing. His mobile phone is also turned off.
His mother, Rovzan describes her son as an honest and hard-working person, someone who has never participated in anything shady or indecent. His mother believes that he was kidnapped by Russian soldiers or their local collaborators because of the large number of abducted or missing young people in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
