Fifty Year Old Man Abducted in Vedeno
Local sources have reported that a male civilian was abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on July 15, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry’s Vedeno district unit and armed bandits from the pro-Moscow regime in Russian occupied Chechen territory organized a joint punishment operation in the village of Makhkety, within the Vedeno district. As a result, a male resident, born in 1963, was abducted from his house. The hostage is accused of providing food to members of the Chechen National Liberation Movement in 2012.
The hostage’s fate and whereabouts are unknown at the moment.
