New “World Chechnya Day” Website Released
The Save Chechnya Campaign has announced that in line with the 70th anniversary of the deportation of the entire Chechen-Ingush people in 1944 by the Soviet regime, their team has prepared a new website with the co-operation of Waynakh Online and Chechen.org websites.
According to the information, at the moment, the new website is in English, however, a brief text about the deportation is available in 10 different languages. On the website, you may find Soviet archive documents, and articles, as well as the eyewitness testimonies.
On the other hand, you may also get involved to the project, you may translate the brief text about incident if it isn’t on the list and share it with the team.
