Prime Minister Zakayev is at the Oslo Freedom Forum 2015

Akhmed Zakayev, Prime Minister of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, participates as a speaker to the 7th annual meeting of the Oslo Freedom Forum where is nearly 200 participants from 86 different countries.
The 2015 theme is “Living in Truth”, a tribute to the late Czech dissident-turned-president Václav Havel, who showed the world how even ordinary individuals can force authoritarian systems to crumble. Speakers from 20 countries, including Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, North Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, and Ukraine, will unite in Oslo to share their stories with more than 300 conference attendees. The forum will feature three days of talks, debates, performances, and art exhibitions.
The Oslo Freedom Forum 2015 is started yesterday evening with “speaker introductory dinner”. The official programme is started on Monday, May 25, with a press event featuring Human Rights Foundation Chairman Garry Kasparov and the 2015 speakers.
Akhmed Zakayev, Head of Cabinet of Ministers of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria will make a speech during the forum alongside with Victor Yushchenko, former President of Ukraine, former President of Lithuanie Prof. Vytautas Landsbergis, former President of Poland Lech Walesa, former President of Colombia Belisario Betancur, former President of Peru Alejandro Toledo, former President of Romania Emil Constantinescu, former Prime Minister of Estonia Mart Laar, former Foreign and Culture Minister of France Philippe Douste-Blazy, former Finance Minister of Chili Andres Velasco, Canadian MP Irwin Cotler, former President of the Security Council of United Nations from Venezuela Diego Arria, famous dissident from the Soviet Union and human rights defender Elena Bonner, Uygurian human rights defender Rabia Kadir and founder of Wikipedia Jimmy Wales.
