Welcome Yankee, a short film about a Chechen refugee couple, will be shown at different film festivals throughout Europe, Argentin, Canada and in the United States.

After the last tour of festivals in July 2013, Welcome Yankee’s young and inspiring director, Benoit Desjardins had another chance to access various international and local film festivals. So that, in August, the film was presented at the 17th FLICKERS: “Rhode Island International Film Festival” and “International Family and Faith Film Festival” in the United States; since the beginning of September 2013, Welcome Yankee was presented at the “International Film Festivals of Golden Diana” in Austria, and “Film North – Huntsville International Film Festival” in Canada.
