Online Chat Opportunity with Oleg Orlov
The European Parliament presents a great opportunity to exchange with this year’s Sakharov Prize winner Oleg Orlov from Memorial, with organizing a web chat.
On December 14, 2009 at 4 p.m. (Central European Time: UTC +1) an online chat with Oleg Orlov, the head of the Board of Human Rights Center Memorial, a member of the Boards of Russian and International Memorial, will take place. The chat will be organized by the European Parliament regarding the awarding of this year’s Sakharov prize to Oleg Orlov, Sergei Kovalev and Lyudmila Alekseeva.
Everybody may ask Oleg Orlov about the work of Memorial, the current state of democracy and human rights in Russia, on Parliament’s Facebook page. Orlov will answer the questions and comments live from Moscow.
