Local sources have reported that seven male civilians were abducted by armed thugs from the pro-Russian regime in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.According to the reports, on July 20, armed bandits from the pro-Russian regime abducted one male resident, born in 1961, from the Naur district. Pro-Russian officers claim that their hostage was a former freedom fighter between 1994-2002 under the well-known Chechen field commander, Khamzat Gelayev.

From July 20-21, armed bandits from the Russian army and the pro-Russian regime conducted joint punishment operations in the Achkoi-Martan district. As a result, five local residents from the village of Samashki in Achkoi-Martan and one resident from the capital city of Grozny were abducted during the operations. Pro-Russian authorities claim that their hostages have been providing food to the Chechen mujahedeen in the South-Eastern front since the beginning of 2011.

The fate and whereabouts of the hostages are unknown.

On the other hand, the relatives of Zaurbek Ferzauli, born in 1985, who lives in the village of Ordzhonikidzevskaya, in Ingushetia’s Sunzha district have reported him missing. He left his house at 5:50pm local time on July 17 and he has not been seen since. His relatives believe that he was kidnapped by Russian security forces.
