Another Kidnapping in Ingushetia
Ingushetiyaru.org has reported that a 15-year old boy was kidnapped by members of Russian and Ingush security forces.
Mid-day through August 8, around 100 members of Russian and Ingush security forces broke into the house of Mutsolgov family in Surhahi village of Ingushetia. They did not show any warrants and just took away 15-year old Magomed Mutsolgov. His father tried to prevent them from taking him, but he was severely beaten. Magomed’s sister then tried to protect her father from the beating, but one of the armed men, a Russian, started to grossly curse her out and threaten her with a beating. The armed men stole also a Nokia phone from the house. The exact location of the 15-year old boy is still not known.
The kidnapping case may be related with the victim’s older brother, Mustafa Mutsolgov who was killed by the FSB.
On July 24, two residents of Surhahi village were killed on the Ekazhevo-Surhahi highway by members of the FSB and the Interior Ministry of Ingushetia. Mustafa Alikhanovich Mutsolgov (born in 1987) and Vakha Magomedoich Sapraliev (born in 1986) were travelling with their car Lada Priora but their car was stopped. The security forces pulled them out of the car and handcuffed them, dragged them a few dozen meters and proceeded to shoot them, two innocent civilians, dead. It was then declared that it had been a special operation and two suspected terrorists had been eliminated. A few days after the tragic event Ingush security officers broke into Mustafa Mutsolgov’s parents house early in the morning and beat the head of the household. They did not present any documents, destroyed property and stole money, gold and jewelry.
