Yevkurov Plans to Kill a well-known Human Rights Defender
Magomed Ozdoyev, a writer for the web portal, Angusht.com has claimed on the grounds of reliable sources that the President of Ingushetia, Yunusbek Yevkurov will soon murder a prominent Ingush human rights activist named Magomed Mutsolgov.
According to the author, the person who provided this information belongs to the group of leaders in the power structure that is subordinate to Yevkurov.
“Yevkurov removes everyone who disagrees with his policies, even if it is at odds with the interests of the Ingush people. Anyone who has at least some real power or public support behind him is eliminated,” wrote Magomed Ozdoyev, the author of the claim.
The source said that Maksharip Aushev had been killed with direct participation and under the direct order from Yunusbek Yevkurov, and an assassination attempt had been made against Imam Khamzat Chumakov.
He wrote that Yevkurov ordered to kill Imam Chumakov because he had influence on young people. Sources say that 3 to 5 thousand followers gather at his services. The problem that Yevkurov seems to have with Chumakov is that his sermons usually involve connecting the government to murders and kidnappings.
In addition, it was reported that the so-called “security forces” seriously warned Magomed Khazbiyev, calling him to the FSB headquarters in Magas, because he was the first to report the news that Yevkurov blew up Khamzat Chumakov. Now Magomed Mutsolgov has fallen within the sights of Yevkurov.
“Since the day that Yevkurov was sent to Ingushetia by the Kremlin, he has been trying to bog down the republic with blood,” he wrote.
The author pointed out that in the past two years, crimes against the residents of Ingushetia are only being reported by three sources; the Human Rights Center Memorial, Magomed Mutsolgov and Magomed Khazbiev. Magomed Mutsolgov works to protect the interests of innocent civilians who have been in serious danger for nearly seven years.
According to the author, initiating a criminal procedure against Mutsolgov is impossible for Yevkurov because Magomed Mutsolgov always works legally and has the respect of the Ingush population. Thus, Yunusbek Yevkurov has only one way to solve the problem: to kill him. So, Yevkurov has ordered the elimination of Magomed Mutsolgov at any cost.
Finally, the author calls everyone to do everything possible to avoid the murder of a true son of the Ingush people!
