Brother of Chechen Singer Taken Hostage
The Ichkeria.info website has received news that the famous Chechen singer, Arbi Curaev’s brother has been kidnapped by gangsters of the Russian occupying forces in Chechnya.
According to the news, on September 12, a Russian soldier took Said-Arbi Nazhaevich Curaev, who was born in 1962, from his house at 25 Orekhova Street in the city of Achkoi-Martan, Chechnya.
His relatives said that Said-Arbi was tortured and forced to sign a confession stating that he has been aiding and abetting the Chechen mujahedeen.
Said-Arbi is a peaceful resident. He has been living with his father and daughter, and has never had a weapon. All of the accusations against him are fabricated.
