Two Men Abducted in Chechnya
Local sources have reported that 2 male civilians were abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on August 12, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry have organized a punishment operation in the district of Vedeno. As a result, a male civilian, born in 1968, was abducted. The hostage is accused of having some ammunition.
On August 13, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry and armed bandits from the pro-Moscow regime in the occupied Chechen territory have set a temporary check point in the district of Achkoy-Martan. As a result, a male resident from the village of Valerik, born in 1968, was abducted from his car. The hostage is accused of providing food aid to members of the Chechen National Liberation Movement between 2008 and 2012.
The fate and whereabouts of hostages are unknown at the moment.
